SO OK, LitD update—
Talked with my roommate a bit today, and she gave a brilliant but simple solution: More pie. (This actually makes a lot of sense if I gave more detail, but detail would give it away. Let it be known she’s brillz.)
Anyway—
I have got QUITE a lot of tweaking to do because of this pie thing, but it will make it stronger as a whole.
Thusly—Chapter probably shan’t be up until later this week, at the earliest? Methinks next week. Methinks.
ANYWAY—you guys are patient and brilliant and thank you always for your dedication to a WIP fic. You’re amazing, all of you!

Reblog if you love to write.
Whether it be fanfiction, original stories, drabbles, songs, poems, books, or anything that has to do with creative words, then reblog. Let’s gather all the writers of Tumblr together.

Castiel stands, moving from where he sat on the bed. He is wearing a grey t-shirt and jeans, and Dean is still not sure he’s comfortable seeing Cas in something other than a suit and trench. “Dean,” Castiel says, his voice somehow still the same gravelly substance, still the same essence trapped in a form. “You told me you loved me.”
“Yeah?” Dean swallows. There is something painful in his throat and he can’t make it go away.
“Was that true?”
“Yes. Of course it was. It is.” Dean’s eyes narrow and he glares at Castiel. “I wouldn’t say it if I didn’t mean it.”
Metatron is standing in the heaven of a lovely young woman when he senses that something is not quite right. He visits this particular heaven often because of the stories she reads and he enjoys watching her as she re-absorbs some of his favorites. Today, however, she looks up from her book and looks quizzically over his shoulder. Metatron turns to follow her gaze and sees a man with messy dark hair and blue eyes. The trench coat, he notices, has been replaced by a over sized zip-up hoodie. He quirks an eyebrow at his ripped jeans and Led Zeppelin t-shirt, but doesn’t comment.
“Castiel,” he says instead. “Back so soon? I wasn’t expecting you for a few more decades, at least.”
He smiles at the former angel and fails to notice that the returning smile doesn’t quite reach Castiel’s eyes.
“There was an accident. Humans are not as durable as angels, and automobiles are much stronger than I anticipated. I suppose you also missed that detail.”
